great stay overall, but could improve check-in process
The garden view from my room was breathtaking, offering a peaceful retreat amid city life. The late checkout option made my experience even more convenient and relaxing.
The check-in process felt a bit impersonal without a front desk presence.

Clean room and a comfortable bed enhanced the experience at this lovely guest house. The private patio is perfect for relaxing, especially after a day exploring nearby restaurants. However, the lack of an elevator made getting to our room a bit challenging, and the service was somewhat limited with only one staff member available. Overall, a quaint spot to enjoy the city ambiance.

would definitely go again
The location is awesome and super safe. My room had air conditioning, a private bathroom with shampoo and body wash, and comfy towels. The courtyard was cute with a waterfall. I loved the codes for entry, no need for a key! The bed was cozy, making it easy to unwind after exploring.

The Double Room was cozy and super clean. The bed was really comfortable, which I loved. The AC worked great during a heatwave, and the little courtyard garden is a nice touch. However, the private balcony was just a fire escape, so that was a letdown. Also, the place doesn't have elevators, so be ready to climb some stairs with your luggage.

Cool spot with comfy vibes
This place is super cozy! The garden’s a nice chill out spot, and the AC was a lifesaver in the heat. Rooms were clean and comfy, but I was a bit bummed there was no coffee maker. You gotta use a door code, which is neat, but I missed some front desk help.

Just a reliable pick for a city break in Chicago with real value for money. The lava lamp in the room was an odd but interesting touch. Make sure to call ahead to get the right door code before arriving.

Unique Experience with Warm Touches!
I enjoyed my stay, especially the steam sauna in the bathroom, which added a luxurious touch. The polite staff made my check-in seamless, but be cautious with parking. I got a ticket despite being told it was free. Great neighborhood vibes!

Convenient location with plenty of nearby restaurants. Clean room featuring a comfortable bed made for a restful night's sleep.
No 24-hour reception creates confusion about guest services. The lack of a TV, combined with a dirty and steep staircase leading to the rooms, could be a hassle for some travelers. The air conditioning struggles, with reports of rooms feeling excessively hot or cold without proper control. I also experienced icy water during showers due to circuit breaker issues. Not to mention, there's no official parking, making it tricky for visitors with vehicles.
